When do unnatural hair colors like pink or purple make you look hotter and more passing? when do they make you look clocky and more like a troon? thinking about dying my hair purple.
The science says natural hair color is almost always the most attractive to men, colored hair probably only works if it is integrated with the rest of your persona/lifestyle and elevates your 'it-girl' status.
>>43373718i dye my hair sweeney todd colours and an old italian lady said i looked like a zebra
troons unfortunately lack the innate whimsical nature that cis women have to pull off colored hair
>>43373718i stopped dyeing my hair half red on my bangs because i could tell the attention it got me was going to get me killedmen liked it but i didn't have the opportunity to care because the danger was more importantand it was a downside that people saw dyed hair and assumed gay alt girl (im not a lesbian, i don't call myself a girl because im in my fucking 30s, and im not even alt, i just liked having dyed hair and i have face piercings)do whatever will make you blend in the most. standing out is dangerous. i don't want to die and you should be aware of the dangers too
>>43373718>dyingit's spelled dyeing not dying
>>43373718I wanna get turquoise ends and a neck tattoo!>>43373732Who cares about attracting the masses when you can filter for non-normies instantly by looking cool and odd?
>>43374998i suspect due to common usage "dying" will become standard and accepted within 10 yearsbut you're right and it's proper to say it>>43375039>Who cares about attracting the masses when you can filter for non-normies instantly by looking cool and odd?looking "cool and odd" is how you get noticed in public by standing out and you put a target on yourself to be abducted and killedthe public is dangerous. you can't go out standing out without getting kidnapped and tortured eventually because of it. why stand out? blend in. it's safer.
>>43376018>the public is dangerous. you can't go out standing out without getting kidnapped and torturedYou need therapy, anon. Being 100% honest. The world is not that unsafe, we just hear about it more when it happens. Unless you don't pass, obviously plenty of places in the world continue to be terrible for trans women. But plenty of cis women dress alternative and nothing happens to them every day. There will never not be criminals that hurt women, so you need to be aware of your surroundings and learn ways to defend yourself, but men must also do that to defend from getting shanked and having their money and belongings stolen instead (or less commonly their organs I guess). So wear your hair how you want as long as you pass enough for it to not endanger you. Read what works for other women online in proactively staying safe. And enjoy your life as best you can.
