'another one' edition

This is a general for cis men taking HRT for reasons unrelated to gender dysphoria.

QOTTs: How's your year been so far? Do you plan to change anything about your aesthetic in the near future? If so, post inspo!
>>
i am a cis man on hrt
>>
It's summer season!!! Let's see all you guys in your trunks.

Do cis men on HRT take it for a long time? How do they deal with breast growth?
>t. rans woman

Laf 2?
>>
Have any of you been able to get a girlfriend? I'm extremely worried my dating pool will be nuked into orbit, even with trans women, I worry they'll dismiss people like us because we don't have the pronouns or voice training
>>
>>43375303
I stay thin. Altho for the first year, I had pretty ugly tubes, they have rounded out by now and I just got used to the fact that I'm a guy with small boobs. I don't really hide em apart from layering or wearing some baggy-ish clothing.
>>43375322
I'm gay af babe
>>
>>43375344
Right, apologies for not clarifying

I'm sorry idk who that is, but that is not me
>>
>>43375358
Honestly tho I think ur gonna be fine if you live in a liberal area.
Theyfabs and trannies alike seem to have very loose and highly varied attraction patterns, so just put yourself out there.
It isn't worth it anyway to repress for the sake of finding fake love.
>>
>>43375303
I won't lie, they're definitely one of my favorite effects of estrogen. All of the other changes, while nice, are much slower to become truly visible, so seeing my breasts grow is reassuring me that the estrogen is doing what it's supposed to. They also just feel really nice

Wouldn't breast growth cause massive gender dysphoria since you're a cis man?? Or maybe you're a repper?
>>
>>43375419
nta but I have 'non-binary dysphoria'.
Imagine a spectrum from masc cis guy to fem cis woman. For most, their sweet spot lies at one end of the spectrum and the further they get from that point, the more dysphoric they feel.
My sweet spot lies dab smack in the middle of that spectrum altho subject to some variance over time.

oh I see! but my question was aimed at cis men in particular, and non-binaries aren't cis
>>
>>43375419
Why would boobs give me dysphoria as a cis guy?
First of all, they just feel really comfy, and while it nay sound weird, they really are amazing for stress relief. Second of all, I'm gynephilic, and my stupid monkey brain is very simple, where it just goes boobs = good.
>>
>>43375460
I'm at least 50% cis man! :)
>>
>>43375472
gynephilic w.r.t. one's own features. one might even say... autogynephilic
>>
>>43375507
It's not sexual in the slightest though. My chest just feels much nicer and more comfortable now
>>
>>43375476
They made it pretty clear they werent asking after people like you
>>
>>43375529
I was at the same place as you at one point anon. Eventually reached a crossroads where they got too big and it was get a breast reduction surgery or keep them and be visibly trans or socially transition and try to pass. Might be worth thinking about what outcome youd prefer most.
>>
>>43375543
I've already thought about this, and I am certain I will never get a reduction ever. Even just the thought of it makes me uneasy. I know a reduction isn't a mastectomy and that it's a mostly harmless procedure, but to me it feels like self mutilation
>>
>>43375575
Thats what I decided too,but you're still going to have to decide how to live with your body from there. Peolle can't see your penis, so your breasts are really their best indicator of gender just looking at you. If people see your chest and feminized body and start gendering you female, what will you do?
>>
>>43375539
This is the real /enbygen/ tho it's just you don't wanna deal with the stigma attached to it. The estrogen makes you part woman!
>>
>>43375588
Nta but just tell them you have gyno
>>
>>43375623
Doesn't really work when they plainly look like breasts and not just gyno
>>
>>43375628
Do most people even know what gyno looks like? Besides, most people only get A or B cup conetits with hrt anyways
>>
>>43375588
I'll just go along with it. I can't really imagine being bothered by it, although obviously except in case I have to deal with misogyny or sexual harassment
>>
>>43375644
Alright. Cool. Just wanted to talk to you about it because I tried the same thing and ended up being unprepared for the consequences really.
>>
I'm pretty set on mastectomy should my breasts make people gender me female
>>
>>43375654
Oh, I'm definitely unprepared for the consequences as well, but I don't think they're something which will ever make me reconsider whether I should get a reduction or not

This seems like the right place to ask: are there any estrogens that will help combat male pattern baldness if I'm already on a 5AR inhibitor (dutasteride), or would it be redundant? If so, is there a way to avoid gyno and any cognitive changes?
>>
>>43375710
Nah its not that estrogen stops balding it's just dht that causes it. You could maybe try topical growth serum but hormones should be fine off dua
>>
>>43375710
dut seems to work just fine for your use case. I use estrogen cause it's cheaper and I'm poor. Try minoxidil
>>
>>43375728
Thanks. Figured as much... though >>43375738 reports otherwise.
>>43375738
What's the mechanism for the estrogen(s) you're taking? I'm not too familiar with what exogenous estrogens do to T/DHT or with any direct effects they have on follicles. I'd been under the impression that they wouldn't be effective for combatting androgenic alopecia. >>43375728 I've been on topical minoxidil for years.
>>
>>43375758
>what exogenous estrogens do to T/DHT
they nuke it
>>
>>43375710
Alfatradiol is used in some countries (topically)
some people use topical estriol (otc) too
