how often do you get misgendered going off appearance alone? for me it's like once every 4 months even without speaking and it's brutal because i've even had ffs and some revisions. like i can go for months without being misgendered despite manmoding and then someone drops sir or something similar sounding. i sometimes cope with it by thinking it was either not said at me or that i misheard or it's someone in my small town of 3000 people that has heard me talk before, and considering that i'm a schizo and am always expecting to hear sir everywhere, i may actually be mishearing people sometimes. it's so weird because how would i go for months without being misgendered if i clearly looked like a man?

>>43390392

The only times I get misgendered these days is when a kid asks if I'm a boy or a girl and then will say how I look or sound like a boy when I give them an answer. But everyone else defaults to she for me.
>>
>>43390312
4 years ago somebody referred to me as a they/it so I guess that’s it
>>
>>43390312

It's funny seeing these posts because I get misgendered 99% of the time nearly 5 years in. I pass over the phone consistently I'm pretty sure but it's maybe two or three times a year I get gendered female to my face, and I only was gendered female for the first time over 3 years in. It's not as if I'm a permamanmoder either, I'd say I girlmode/"boymode" (aka don't wear makeup and wear jeans) 50/50 most of the time. I totally understand the pain of getting misgendered but it's just a little funny hearing a manmoder complain about getting misgendered only a few times a year.
>>
>>43390312
Note at all but I think is more to do in My language that you don't need to gender someone to talk to them
>>
>>43390312
the pharmacist called me a "he" when I went out in full girlmode. shit hurt even though she corrected herself, ngl. just another reminder that I'm a failed male, not a woman fmstl.

i'm sorry nona :(

>the pharmacist called me a "he" when I went out in full girlmode
yeah this is why i'm never going to girlmode, i always dress with enough plausible deniability that a cis guy could dress like this too, though i have tranny bangs so maybe i'm just a honmoder and am coping by saying that it's a haircut a guy could have as well

i never malefailed...................

Why would you need to be an ugly hon to get misgendered?
>>
>>43390312
There are only 2 types of instances in which I've been misgendered.
The first instance was pretransition when I already looked like a girl and people mistook me for one.
The second instance is during online games when people only have my chat messages to go off of and call me a guy.
After transitioning, no one has ever misgendered me. My voice never dropped. I have always, during my entire life, looked unmistakably female. I started taking hormones at age 12. I'm 20 now.
Yes I'm on my high horse right now, and yes I'm bragging. But hey, the question was asked so I'll answer.

I used to post like this but then I realized I was being kind of a bitch. Like you won. Go out and enjoy your success.
Now I reserve this treatment for people being annoying about their own good luck/circumstances. Especially when I can one-up them.
That and chuds. It's fun to play with chuds sometimes.
