there's really no reason to move anywhere in canada other than ontario, quebec, or bc
like it's really fucking empty. Nova scotia is nice to visit, but there's seriously nothing there

You wouldn't say that if you saw the country yellow teeth i inherited

Im from the sticks i prefer it that way. Pretty land > civilization. The south is getting too crowded these days

Come to Alberta
>>
>>43394933
sure, but the weather is also terrible like 9 months of the year, it's incredibly isolated, limited access to medical services and stuff
like you can live an hour from toronto and still be rural and have the woods in your backyard
>>
>>43394981
The weather here is 100 degrees and humid i would put up with snow to avoid that. The medical shit is a little much though sounds like rural Tennessee.
>>
>>43395006
well you're going to have to put up with snow anywhere in canada
my point is just that you're talking about moving to a super depopulated part of the country with very few young people and very few immigrants in really isolated communities primarily based around the fishing industry, when you could move to a more populated area and have a much more welcoming community with tons of other immigrants and trans people, and much better access to medicine and services in general, and far better employment opportunities, and so on.
like if you really want to live on the east coast that's fine, but you should at least visit there and visit other parts of the country first before making that kind of decision
>>
fuck nova scotia any manitobans here?
>t.ranny
>>

Lowkey didnt know i could move to any province through bill c-3. Now i dont know where to choose

Not from Nova Scotia, but I've visited Halifax a few times.
The area around Halifax is pretty beautiful. You could literally be a 1-2 hour bicycle ride away from the city and have a lot backing onto the woods (no guarantees this is affordable, mind you, especially if you're ditch a cheap rural US property).
Nova Scotia is pretty progressive conservative (aka "libertarian on social issues, conservative on fiscal issues"). Not the best province to be in, politically, but not the worst (lol Alberta).

But one thing you will need to grapple with is that, anywhere in the Maritimes, you will always be "from Away." An outsider.
Doesn't matter how long you put down roots there, it's a part of the country held together by the hyper-local culture the people there were born into. Whenever there is anything about you that reminds them you're "from Away", it will make them a bit uneasy and put their guard up.
Still very friendly people, but their social circles are heavily predicated on "oh, your family lived down the street from me in grade 7 in this tiny village. That's our connection!" type of shit.

Also sounds like rural Tennessee. Ty! I guess ill look around more to decide

When I was 16 I was obsessed with the flag of Newfoundland and Labrador and would tell all my friends fun facts about Newfoundland and Labrador and then I got diagnosed with autism.
>>
there's tons of trannies in nova scotia but it's boring and you might run into ME whitch is unpleasant
>>
>>43395804
How boring is boring? I live in a town of 30k. The only interesting thing to do is going to one of 3 cities about an hour away each
>>
>>43395831
there's stuff to do in Yarmouth and near Halifax and some stuff on the northern parts but most of it is small towns with maybe a grocery store or two. I like it personally but depending on where you choose to live it can be a hour drive just to get 2 a gas station. lots of farmer types. emergency rooms close randomly so if you've got health issues it won't be fun.

newfoundland is the best part of this country which is why no one should move there since they risk ruining it
>>
>>43395928
Im from Shreveport but now live in south Carolina
>>
>>43395957
gotcha! ^-^
>>
>>43394866
Tranny from NS and honestly I wouldnt say its super great. The Maritimes are a lot like Appalachia meaning we are insular and poor with little to do besides drinking. It used to be affordable to live here before Covid but now its just as expensive as the rest of the country. We have less jobs and opportunities. Generally life here is slow and exceedingly boring. I wanna get out desperately but i am in the army and have responsibilities
>>
>>43396214
Where would you go to?
>>
>>43396225
Ontario. If I could afford Toronto I would stay there. Im going to Petawawa this summer to drive trucks for cansofcom, hopefully i dont get hate crimed lol
>>
>>43396302
>Petawawa
What's funny is that the Canadian Forces booth at Anime North is usually run by folks out of Petawawa as opposed to the much closer Borden. So there are at least a two or three nerds there, I met them and confirmed they are real.
