>It's malebrained to support nuclear energy
Well, girlies? You don't support nuclear energy, do you? You aren't a nuclearhon, are you?
>>
>>43403258
I don’t i always shit could go wrong with it and the earth would suffer for it
>>
im a nukehon and proud, trvkehon even
>>
>>43403258
Are 30% of women actually men?

Also I'm pro nuclear because I had a lot of exposure to it as a kid.
>>
>>43403334
THE EARTH IS ALREADY GOING TO SHIT BECAUSE OF FOSSIL FUELS YOU ILLITERATE RETARD
>>
>>43403258
Sooolllaaaarrrr power
>>
>>43403463
No it's not
>>
>>43403258
these sorts of surveys should have factual questions embedded and they should separately publish the results of the subjective questions for the people who answered the factual questions correctly
>>
>>43403463
Yeah and nuclear power would only make shit worse
>>
I will always defend nuclear i dont care cisoids can cope I am a woman and you have to be retarded to hate the safest most effective energy generation we have just become a soviet reactor build by yes men killed 30 people
>>
>>43403258
women are retarded and shouldn't get to vote, desu.
>>
>>43403611
Me when i make shit up and lie
>>
>>43403650
yeah i agree
t. bimbomaxxer
>>
>>43403258
In China they don't have to worry about 50% of the population voting against nuclear energy (or any other policy). There are some disadvantages to electoral democracy.
>>
>>43403258
i like to think this is because men hear "nuclear" and think "dood, nukes, that's like awesome dood" and start giggling like troglodytes while mouthing Stuka plane & explosion noises before flexing their arms
>>
>>43403653
So mean and rude… just because im stupid doesn’t give you the right
>>
>>43403725
it's the opposite
men understand what nuclear power is which is why they support it
women immediately think of a nuclear bomb because their science teacher gave them a passing grade so the school didnt look bad for failing girls

Nuclear is based but at this point solar is just better. Solar is cheaper, faster to build and lower maintenance. Once the panels are up it's literally free energy. It's free bro the sun gives it away free of charge. All you have do to is pay a guy to wipe the dust off the panels every month. The only thing that absolutely MOGS is geothermal, but geothermal is heavily geography dependent and likely unscalable. Even in cloudy places solar can be profitable these days.
I think the focus now should be funding experimental research nuclear reactors while building solar for power infrastructure. In the future hopefully the annihilation of retarded regulations and engineering breakthroughs will let nuclear to rise to it's righteous spot as the power source of humanity
>>
>>43403258
people label women's opposition to nuclear (which is very real and iwnbaw because i think its a good idea) as vibes-based but mens support is also kinda vibes-based. i don't think most men are super educated on nuclear - maybe enough to know that common negative talking points are mostly bullshit, but not enough to give a strong answer to the pros and cons of doing another big nuclear buildout vs lots of grid battery storage etc

but yeah iwnbaw because i like uranium and gmos and building more housing
>>
>>43403921
>>43404003
yeah exactly. LNT model and its consequences etc etc but that's the situation we're in, and xi jinping's big bargain batteries have made solar very viable. that gif is literally me btw
>>
>>43403258
women are so stupid
>>
>>43403921
>>43404003
solar+batteries are better than nukes now because they weren't intentionally strangled.
i am not necessarily advocating for building a bunch of nukes today but we need to figure out how to stop governments from doing this shit to other technologies, and part of that first has to be acknowledging how badly nuclear was handled.
>>
>>43404140
real! and it pains me to say it but part of it is going to directly involve enaging with and seriously challenging women's beliefs about emerging technologies, given the way that political gender polarization is happening in the west

>Solar is cheaper
Because of subsidies from the tax payers.
Solar panels also have a shelf life and all the harmful chemicals used to create them are then thrown into a landfill.
Wind turbines are slowly nuking the bird populations.

Nuclear is actually the cleanest and safest energy out there.
However, we should be using all available sources and stop pandering and doing what the energy companies tell us we should be doing

all minor nothingburgers.
>the subsides
It's not seeing unprecedented global adoption because the government of the united states gives 0.001% of it's budget to it. It's now by nature cheap and efficient, everywhere on the world. Both to manufacture and to produce power. "Muh subsides" are a cope dropped by retards who don't get that what was subsidized was RESEARCH so that the panels have higher efficiency and lower manufacturing costs. Very well, now they have both high efficiency and low manufacturing costs, all the government investment paid off brilliantly.
>Solar panels also have a shelf life and all the harmful chemicals used to create them are then thrown into a landfill.
bullshit. Recycling solar panels will become a major industry just like how recycling electronic waste is. Getting the metals back from the panels is more profitable than throwing them on the landfill. With the panels you don't have the problem you have with consumer electronics, being the consumer is s bumbling retard that doesn't know batteries don't go to the normal trash. The plants pay the companies to get rid of the old panels, the companies then make even more money through recycling.
>Wind turbines are slowly nuking the bird populations.
The biggest made up nothing burger in history. The bird deaths are minor and inconsequential. The only effect is getting clicks by retards.
All these concerns are the equivalent of "but nuclear power plants spit out green goop everywhere and can explode randomly killing everyone around!" But for panels and turbines. Just like everything bad said about nuclear is bullshit, everything bad said about them is bullshit.
>>
Of course I support nuclear. I'm not a cretin.
>>43405276
shut up green-ccp shill.
"solar" is not cheap at all and it's a grift that favors the CCP. You are either a bumbling retard or a paid ccp shill. Likely the former because the ccp shills don't bother with the tranny board.

normie women being the dumbest most sheeplike group in society and autistic women being the smartest most individualist group makes me think about the purpose of feminism sometimes
it's very white mans burden, "we must save these mindless women from themselves"

>pro-nuclear people: yeah it’s safe don’t worry about it
Well what if one of the nuclear reactors starts leaking
>pro-nuclear: I said it’s safe don’t worry about it god stop being such a woman
>>
>>43405342
only some catastrophic disaster would cause a nuclear reactor to "leak"
they're designed to completely contain the core's contents even after a meltdown
>>
nuclear energy is fuckin awesome
>t. FtM
>>
>>43405342
the existing ecological and economic disaster of fossil fuels has done more global damage than anything less than a full MAD nuclear exchange could rival
the fossil fuel lobby suppressing nuclear energy is part of this

current forms of green energy are permitted because they're feeble and cannot rival fossil fuels
hydroelectric gets buried because it can, in the same way nuclear does
>>
>>43405342
tbdesu depends on what you mean by leak
like, gap leaks in fuel rods happen pretty often and it's fine
leaks in the primary and secondary coolant loops happen too, it's just what water does. its manageable
and the pressure vessels are bretty thick, it's very hard for coolant to leak out of the rpv itself. unless the core melts down (extremely unlikely with modern/upgraded reactors) but at that point you have bigger problems
>>
>>43403334
the earth is a ball of dirt flying through space that somehow managed to populate with life that had the capacity to invent calculus, it would be a crime not to use nuclear energy as it's our birth right.
