>>43415141The enbies in question >"You don't need hrt to be trans" isn't effected by anti trans sports bills or hrt/surgery laws>"You're misgendering me!" won't correct their parents, boyfriend, or boss>65% are just cis people with unusual fashion>"You think I'm valid, right?"
>>43415141>Me be>En be>Not retardedIt's that easy, folx. Maybe we'd be a little more accepted if some people learned what transmisogyny is

>>43415141You shouldn't come to this board for good opinions.
Because yall aint trans ur transphobic. Enby aint a thing.
>>43415141You can either believe in the idea of transgenderism, or the idea that trans people are simply non-binary.
>>43415141I have not met a non binary person who was not a jeep in denial or quirky woman
I'm not. I've knowingly had nonbinary friends for like 22 years lol. I think it's a lot of things. Some here have been told or told themselves that enbies are responsible for the right-wing antitrans smear campaign that is hurting so many of us. They also think nonbinary people, neopronouns, etc are something that started in 2015 or even later, so those people basically invented something that led to the backlash. Unfortunately, trans history, even recent trans history, is not easily available, and a lot of young or new trans people learn their history from cis people, who may or may not even be in good faith.Additionally, some of us may claw back some feelings or safety or legitimacy by trying to make ourselves more like the majority group. Clinging to the fact that one is binary or dysphoric or hate enbies can feel better, like you can convince transphobic cis people that you're one of the good ones, you're reasonable, they should make an exception for you. It's a terrible tactic but it can feel logical and reassuring.Lastly, the fact that nondysphoric people talk about their own experiences online when some of us are struggling with forcibly untreated/undertreated dysphoria feels like a slap in the face. Some binary, dysphoric trans people feel intense bitterness when nonbinary people that they do not relate to take up time or write about their own experiences, especially if any of those people incorrectly generalize about the trans experience. They may also feel it is lazy/sloppy, if they have to do a lot of work just to pass safely or deal with their own dysphoria or internalized transphobia.(For the record, I agree that needing medical intervention, especially in this political + economic climate, is more urgent that being someone who categorically does not need medical intervention. I don't agree with some of the conclusions people draw from that though.)
>>43419025Adding to this, white afab enbies are like x10 more insufferable than anyone else.Never encountered a non-white afab enby who was ignorant of the privileges they do have in comparison to other trans folks. Not saying it never happens, just my experience.
