Oh lol sorry no I live in the US. “New England” is the term for the north east of the country. We did have a couple really big blizzards here this winter. I thought I’d taken photos, but I can’t find them on my phone :/

People over here do use the term New England to refer to the region as a whole. “Northeast” is just as common though. I guess part of the reason is the states here are so much smaller than on the west coast it’s common too think of them as a group.
