portland is a little sleepier. seattle has better job opportunities and is a bit more alive but still sleepy compared to a mega city. Capitol Hill for example has much more amenities than something equivalent like Pearl District. Puget sound is nice but so is washington park/forest park. Seattle is 9k/sq mile and portland is 5k. I can answer more questions about differences if youd like.

>>43425698Portland just being slower paced is itsstrongest point but it comes with some apathy and low inertia. Seattle just has more stuff and the city is more bustling overall, comes with some more atomization and desperation. Seattle being coastal also keeps the humidity higher which is a strong point imo. And personally I love the Sound very much
