It constantly repeats itself because it's multiple sources from different tribes putting their parts in, often going "don't be like this tribe, they're bad" just for the next part to say the opposite hence the constant contradictions. There are literally 2 different versions of God within the Bible because of this but translations managed to hide that fact eventually.For a text that's supposedly read by billions fucking NOBODY understands it because if they actually did they would quickly understand it has no merit above any other religion, arguably even less than many due to it's countless sources revisions and mistranslations.
