That's how I overcame that phase. I also hated the reminiscent gynephilia but it all settled really well when I switched to focusing on what I wanted - which was men. You have it even easier: just focus on him. Enjoy his presence and allow yourself to be enjoyable for him too.
And please, stop defining yourself as "less of a woman" or "more of a woman". Allow yourself to be you. We're all complex beings.
