Can you be lgbt and religious?
>>
>>43449722
>"Religious"
>Actually means islamic or christian
>>
>>43449722
I mean, you can be a lot of things, but that doesn't mean it's intelligent
>>
>>43449722
yes obviously
>>43449732
also this
>>
>>43449777
religion is more a matter of the heart than the brains

I understand growing up with religion and not questioning it, but it seems to me that once you start questioning it it's hard to find anything that isn't fake. Like once you've seen the history of a religion, how it evolved from completely different belief systems, how the religion changed over time, and how many inconsistencies there are, what is keeping you attached to the belief system other than a deep fear of hell that you were groomed into?
it's worst with lgbt people because nearly every religion treats lgbt people poorly and considers them to be a bad thing. What keeps people attached to the religion?
>>
>>43449722
yeah. any kind of person can be a moron.

>>
>>43449722
Any kind of abrahamic religion?
Probably no
Religious in general maybe
>>
>>43449843
at least thai buddhism gives an explanation for why trannies exist
>>
>>43449861
>Abrahamic religion
You are retarded for thinking this term means anything
>>
>>43449864
everyone knows what it means
>>
>>43449874
It means you think islam, christanity, and judaism are similar enough to he compared despite them having their own distinct laws and morality
>>
>>43449884
islam, christianity, and judaism all derive from abraham, so are abrahamic. There's overlap in doctrine, history, and geography, meaning that these religions are all a lot more like each other than they are like other religions.
the only people who get mad about the term are people who follow one of these religions but don't want to be associated with another

Yes. Though, questions arise when discussing religions of Abrahamic origins. If a tranny were to be religious, wouldn't it be most optimal to join a religion that doesn't discriminate against its worshippers?

the choice though a personal one, has always been an enigma to me.
>>
>>43449884
Only an abrahamic would think islam, christianity and judaism aren't similar despite worshipping the same people, having the same stories, having the same ideas of sin,
>>
>>43449732
those are the only 2 religions in the western world after they exterminated everything that wasnt a doomsday cult
>>
>>43449905
Incorrect. Islam was made up by Muhammad the same way Joseph smith just made up mormonism. Christanity was made by paul when he forced them to let gentiles join which separated it from judaism. Judaism is the only one that actually has any blood inheritance from abraham becouse its an ethnic religion. Using abrahamic religions as a term is basically saying your opinions on the topic are baseless
>>
>>43449956
christianity and islam both claim legitimacy as descendants of abraham
>>
>>43449864
Jewish people, especially Israelis still hate trannies anon.
You can only be trans in the more liberal sects, similar shit with Islam and Christianity
>>
>>43449959
Yes but its a "spiritual" inheritance. Which means nothing at all
>>
>>43449994
religions are inherently spiritual...
>>
>>43449986
>Sects
Thats not what they are called in judaism. Opinion disregarded
>>
>>43449994
None of it means anything because its not real
>>
>>43450001
Also incorrect. Judaism requires no faith or spirituality whatsoever. It is ritualistic/ focused on what you do.
>>
>>43450006
Thats just semantics anon, I don't care about using your gay little words
>>
>>43450024
Too bad you feel the need to comment about things your words imply you are clueless about still
>>
>>43449722
yeah.

Judaism is way closer to Islam than to Christianity
>>
>>43449722
For me yes I see no issue between me being Jewish and me being trans . That is I am only traditional not fully religious, but I keep kosher I do kiddush I fast and I keep the costums all the holidays. I don’t see a problem, there’s nothing about Judaism that prohibits transitioning
>>
>>43452681
>there’s nothing about Judaism that prohibits transitioning
true. The Talmud describes six genders, two of which amount to being trans. Are you aylonit or saris?
>>
>>43452694
I haven’t studied the majority of the Talmud, only hyper-knowledgable people really attempt that. I’m a saris tho if I understand the meaning properly

I believe that if the worst thing I do in my life is love the wrong sex or change my body to match my heart, Jesus would be a cool enough guy to forgive me

Isn't it just as possible to re-interpret all of those features of religion in favor of their use? To recontextualize all of the changes that take place when things get hard, or when solipsistic leaders get ahold of the strings of the organizations that have grown around worship? To say that, actually all of that retvrn bullshit pops up no matter which religion we're talking about because it's just one of the ways humans control eachother and protect their tribe or personal status and not some essential feature of religion?
Cause you're right, there are basically no religions that don't have people preaching for 'Traditional' values(which all miraculously oppose the same things/people and become systems of control for narcissists), but they all have to hold some level of merit to spread. There has to be some little passage in the specialist book of ever and all time, whichever one we choose, that talks about the need to be more altruistic and forgiving and all that. If not the circles of acceptability all almost instantly contract and destroy all of their proponents for inevitably failing to hide how they're not living up to their magical standards.
>>
>>43449956
>Jew definition of word that makes you special by criteria that matters nowhere outside of Jewish exceptionalism
"Abrahamic" refers to moral and social genealogy, all 3 religions predate modern, geneticist notions of ethnicity and race.
What's more blood =/= matrilineage, youre a not chosen if only your dad is Jewish even if you're ethnically Ashkenazi (or one of the other prominently Jewish ancestries that are banned from Israel).

Can a tranny receive communion?
>>
I'm religious, but I'm a succubus worshiper. I love my succubus gf. She loves me too. We're gonna recruit other people into our cult and have kinky ritualistic orgies.
>>
>>43449814
I believe in the east asian faiths because they're far more holistic to what it means to be alive and human, Buddhism and Shinto especially. The abrahamic religions are as barbaric as the lands they sprouted from so it's little wonder they are as they are, almost nothing good ever emerges from the middle east.

I firmly believe in my religion but it took years for me to get there and any explanation just makes atheists go "you're stupid" which is why the question you posed is impossible to answer. Not to be accusatory, but any answer I give you is one you aren't going to be receptive to.
