I understand growing up with religion and not questioning it, but it seems to me that once you start questioning it it's hard to find anything that isn't fake. Like once you've seen the history of a religion, how it evolved from completely different belief systems, how the religion changed over time, and how many inconsistencies there are, what is keeping you attached to the belief system other than a deep fear of hell that you were groomed into?it's worst with lgbt people because nearly every religion treats lgbt people poorly and considers them to be a bad thing. What keeps people attached to the religion?
