Should I just bite the bullet and start trying to get hired at Starbucks? It's very likely I can scrape by and keep this job, but this company is really really frustrating me. I can't even be sick in peace without risking my entire livelihood. I could end up getting hired at my local Starbucks and FFS and tons of other bullshit covered by my insurance. Is it worth it, though? I've heard Starbucks isn't as good anymore.

Its impossible to get into higher positions, district managers never worked as Batista's
All that for a shitty job that barely pays (your hours are quite limited)
This is what Ive learned from two people who worked there for years, idk about the tranny stuff though

I really don't give a fuck about how good or bad the job is. And for what it's worth, Starbucks pays more than Walmart does, although just about a dollar more. None of that matters, though. What matters for me is getting surgery. I can't be happy without it.

Every job is like this we live in late stage capitalist hell. You have to play the game if you want things like ffs.

Thats not true? Not every company gives you a device that times you and tracks your every movment. Most companies do not time your breaks or have a 90% turnover rate after 3 months

i feel this so hard. the job market is so fucked. its just a humiliation ritual at this point honestly. in a functioning country, as a normal 21 year old i should be able to walk into any fast food establishment or grocery store and be hired on the spot because im ridiculously over qualified cause these are jobs for highschoolers and people with literal down syndrome but no everything has to be retarded for some reason.
