I'm playing Fate/Extra CCC. The girl MC is basically using the boy script so she feels like a transbian its very funny. You have to go nopan in one mission too.

I left my Switch 2 at my gf's house so she can enjoy Pokemon Scarlet with the Switch 2 performance improvements. I first played a bit of Z-A in English, then felt guilty that I wasn't using it for Japanese practice so I swapped to Japanese, then swapped back to English because I simply couldn't be bothered looking up everything in my electronic dictionary. Z-A has my transbian seal of approval.My gf was really surprised when I said that Z-A impresses me more graphically, and then I showed her how muddy the world is in Arceus and how at 30fps the screen "smears" when you rotate the camera. I'm also a freak and prefer The Division 1 so I told her to keep that in mind, lol.Maybe I'll get my gf into Style Savvy on the 3DS so she can enjoy fashion. We're watching Kamikaze Girls this weekend too.

More useful vocab and a bit more kanji throughout while not being overwhelming

>>43463490I've been studying since maybe 2021. 2022-2024 I was on hiatus because of a combination of call centre work making me too tired and I got attacked in public and was struggling with sleep, fatigue, and waking up distressed, lol. If we boil it down, only 2021 + 2025 until now count. I mostly just turn LNs into flashcards with yomitan since premade decks dont cover enough anymore. I also study with the Kanken games since I want to pass 漢検ニI ran into a native Japanese calligrapher in the city once as she was painting commissions and I had to instruct her on the kanji for 天使 (てんし / tenshi, angel) for my artwork. Was so confusing she needed my help to remember the kanji, but I guess the strokes on the left and top part of 使 probably made her want to look it up (see 史 for an example of how she could have messed it up). We talked a bit about the various Japanese tests and how her friend is preparing for the 日本語検定. I'm considering a proper Japanese calligraphy set because it is quite relaxing. I even have a calligraphy game on my DS flashcart and it's quite fun.My studies come in handy sometimes like how Japanese 3DS are cheaper so I'm modding a JP 3DS for my friend. We talk in a mix of Chinese & Japanese too around friends to keep conversations private. Things are coming along nicely...and at the speed of 1200+ reviews per day, lol.
