It's so tiring of getting othered for having a trans girlfriend. Don't get me wrong this is absolutely not her fault and this doesn't affect how much I love her or how much I enjoy being with her, but it really sucks the reactions that people have when it comes up that my girlfriend is trans. I've had people say things impling that I'm not really a lesbian, people going like "oh I'm sorry for you" like she's some sort of burden, getting quietly excluded from lesbian circles. It's so fucked I hate how mainstream this bigotry is, and that's just from my perspective as someone who is only dating a trans woman, it breaks my heart how much worse my girlfriend has it as a trans woman.Pic unrelated I just like Glegle
