i am still not sure if i dont like gaming in general (this is my first shooter game), or if half life is a poorly made game
you realize that game is like 25 years old right? deus ex is also highly acclaimed and janky as shit with bad animations and mgs-tier enemy sight. you have to consider the game as a relic of it's time and also remember it's a video game made by people and nothing people make is ever perfect.with that in mind I think you just don't understand gaming and are too focused on reality to let go and truly enjoy the game.like for example >oh the ai is bad or the graphics are poopy or the physics are barely there or the plot makes no senseall pointless "critical" nonsense that just sucks any enjoyment you could have out of it. Don't play the game like you're doing a let's play and are trying to force yourself to enjoy it for someone else's sake.also if it makes you feel better I get to about lambda labs and give up cause the game just drags on way too long.
