It contributed to my development in a mostly positive way, setting me apart from delusional female classmates, and at times felt like a Greek forum. 4chan taught me a lot, inspired me to pursue my current career, got me interested in politics, and trained me to assume the critical, irreverent position instead of automatically agreeing to preserve status quo. It was certainly better for me than the conventional social media where your every fart is examined and tied to your profile.
