I feel you though my mom has worked with the elderly for like 40 years now and a lot of elderly folks can be really really sweet and affirming lol. I work in hospitality now and get a lot of elderly clients, and they are all super sweet to me and compliment my hair or nails lol especially the old guys xDBut yeah!! When I wash my hair I use a mix of Being anti-frizz shampoo and a tiny drop of clinical anti-dandruff shampoo (i get dry scalp easily), after rinsing I soak for 10 minutes with Being anti-frizz hair mask, rinse then use Being conditioner, then rinse. Once out of the shower I use Being leave-in conditioner and Paul Mitchell anti-frizz + shine hair serum lol. Kinda novel to use two different shampoos too. Anti-frizz sounds really clutch. I can usually make my hair look okay for one or even two days but after I go for a run it can get kinda messy.
>>43514676Honestly out of everything the biggest difference for me was the hair mask and the Paul Mitchell super skinny serum. The mask does its thing for a few days until you need to wash again but in between washes you can use the PM serum to combat frizz as needed. It was pricey, the serum was $30 at Walmart but you use sooo little of it since it goes a long way that it's worth it. I've had my bottle for like 5 months now and i have about 3/4s of it leftDefinitely suggest the Being anti-frizz suite of shampoo/conditioners/mask though for sure!! Its very affordable compared to like salon tier products and they have made such a difference for me honestly
