what worked for me was just existing as a trans woman tbhon, like i started dating them and they had a very fragile masculinity and was big on being androgynous-masc, and then eventually with time they started mimicking me and being very explicitly feminine, asked me to start calling them my gf instead of partner and all, even shit that i never even do like using ":3" they started picking up on
