i used to love euphoria cause i really related to jules and i thought she was such good trans teen representation especially to me in particular like that was basically me and my life in the show
but this new season is so bad especially when it comes to jules
hunter schafer has like 5 minutes of screentime and the screentime she does have is full of just a bunch of weird fetish shit
it feels like sam levinson wrote this season while locked in a room doing drugs and watching porn the whole thing is so detached from reality
the reason i feel like he's a chaser isn't even because of all the fetish scenes but its just how jules is written as a character in this season
it feels like he finds sexual gratification in making the trans community and hunter schafer specifically uncomforable
making her drop out of art school to be a sugar baby was one thing like i guess that could make sense for her character but it was the first strike
the part in the 4th episode where jules painted a bunch of women with dicks for some tv show commission that everyone was arguing about on twitter was weird because NO ONE especially not jules would do that
the last straw for me which i havent seen anyone notice but it feels so weird to me is when cassie is doing asmr for only fans and she's saying the names of men who are subscribing to her and she says hunter which is not that common of a name and i just feel like that had evil intentions
he's also had a lot of insight into the trans and lgbt community for a straight man which now seems suspiscious
i think sam levinson is also just a weird perverted man in general and that also just includes him being a tranny chaser
