I'm "cis" but I've been questioning for a long time and finally got some HRT vials. How long should I try taking it before deciding whether to continue/stop? Anyone had a similar experience?
>>

I think if you already ordered it, you know the answer, lmao. But to give an actual response, if it doesn't feel lile something you want at any point, just stop immediately
>>
>>43544425
Tbhon I wouldn’t try it at all. Good chance you’ll end up like me where you realize transitioning isn’t for you but you also find it really hard to stop hrt. Problem is that just wanting a feminine body doesn’t make you trans at all

> you realize transitioning isn’t for you but you also find it really hard to stop hrt
Why's that?
The idea is that a) by making a concrete step towards transitioning it becomes a real thing I can seriously think about instead of a fantasy and b) see how I feel about the short-term effects
>>
>>43544723
what I mean is actually transitioning I.e. changing your gender and just taking hrt are really completely different things and it’s possible to like the effects of hrt without wanting to transition and this is a quagmire of a situation bc you can’t really commit to anythkng
>>
Ive been on 8 months and i still dont know if im trans
>>
>>43544425
so hold on your plan is to take one of the first steps of transitioning to see if you should transition? I don't think you were ever cis to begin with, but you could just have a bizarre way of doing things.

Who cares if you're TruTrans or what if you want a feminine body take the medicine that makes you feminine
>>
>>43544425
Might as well test it out now that you have it. Once you start seeing breast growth is where you'll be having some permanent changes, stopping does reverse that somewhat but not fully
>>
>>43544425
you’ll have tits within a few weeks but realistically 6 months
>>
>>43544425
>glegleposter
you were never cis
>>
>>43546624
I've lurked here enough while figuring things out
>>43545765
This is also kind of what I'm thinking
>>
>>43544632
The only reason to avoid being like this person is that theyre clearly some sort of repper who thinks shes not trans despite her dysphoria because she was fooled into beliving a cis persons idea of what transness has to be
>>
>>43547710
I’m not a repper and you referring to me as “she” makes me very uncomfortable. The reality is just that a lot of the effects of estrogen are nice when ur a non masculine male but that doesn’t mean you should take it and it certainly doesn’t make you trans

why not?
