reject humanity, embrace technology
>>43557099how
>>43557099couple decades too early, anon
>>43557099I don't really trust Thiel-type technocrats to make their technology ethical and in my interests, soz
>>43557099Why
i would much rather be made out of gears and oil
>>43557479It's nice to know I'm not the only one.
>>43557099would if we could. from the moment we yadda yadda.we just want to ascend and truly actualize.
>>43557099if i could turn myself into an adam smasher type machine i 100% would, fuck the human body
>>43557099Ugh
Remember last year a human survived 100 days with a total heart transplant. As we replace failing organs with unfailing machines the strength of steel will stave off the cascading systems failure we call old age. We may feel too early for the cybernetic revolution but we may be just in time to be dragged across the finish line.
>>43558342Cybernetic revolution is never gonna happen, the future is biological. Why put some artificial heart and get on anti-rejection medicine if you can grow another one tailored just for you?
>>43558342>>43558406why can’t we have bothmaybe china will have the techno stuff and the west will have bio labs
>>43558514Because cyberpunk shit is unrealistic no matter how cool it is.
>>43558514Realistically both is the way to go. There will always be things biology does better and things machines excel at. If we ever get battery technology up to snuff we've already got above the knee prosthetics that can run better than human legs. On the flip side replacing the circulatory system isn't even worth it. At that point you either fix what's there or jump to full Alita/Adam Smasher leaping over the digestive tract and all supportive organs as well. Which is possible but probably won't be pursued seriously until a war or space travel makes it a necessity and also it's been a century. In the meantime replacing what we can with machines can improve our QoL and also take pressure to perform off the meaty bits
Da fuq? There’s an adeptus mechanicus thread on /tttt/ today?

>>43557099embracing technology is embracing humanitytechnology is what we do
I want to be non-human.I hope one day to escape it all.
>>43557099No fuck you demon
>>43558342Ah yes living forever so you can be a slave in hell
>>43561164The wheel is human technology. Roboticizing ourselves to be more efficient slaves is not.
