why are religious tranners kinda cute?? like If I weren't so aware of how horrid Abrahamic religions are, I'd like to be a devoted Christian trans girl.
>>
>>43564465
Because you are sexist and view stupidity as a desirable, “feminine” trait.
>>
>>43564465
>like If I weren't so aware of how horrid Abrahamic religions are, I'd like to be a devoted Christian trans girl.
you can still do this, it just requires understanding that the organized churches are typically antichrist worshipers.
like the bible is actually quite clear that the enemy is going to pretend to be jesus and pretend to be worshiping jesus and people are going to go along with it. that is not subtext. matthew 24 is hard to argue with on that point.
>>
>>43564465
last month I was on my way to see my mother at the hospital (she was recovering from a surgery)
while on the bus, I closed my eyes for a second and saw a image of jesus holding my mothers hand.

when I got threre, I received the news that she has passed away.

so or Im getting schizo,
or I really need to start praying more.
>>
>>43564827
every christian thinks they're the special snowflake who's right about everything and has all the correct bible opinions and every christian is still delusional
>>
>>43564465
It's definitely possible but it is hard. You will be hated by everyone for it.

>>43564827
This, I'm very careful about churches and congregations since if you let your guard down they will hurt and backstab you deeply. Either due to illwill or ignorance but it hurts the same regardless.

>>43564889
It's good to be skeptical of such visions but sometimes it is real.
>>
>>43566766
yeah I know, I just dont have an explanation why that happened, I was warned that the surgery went fine, so I wasnt expecting the worse, so I really dont know why that would appear in my mind suddenly.

trannies are WAY more part of jesus flock than the normies and if you don’t get this you haven’t been reading that book very closely

you can still believe in the decent version of Big J, the lad that consorted with the whores, threw the merchants out of the temple, the one that loves instead of punishing his cripples (gender cripples included)
fuck the corruption, keep the faith that makes you a decent human being

I think in American Christianity, Christ is more of a symbol for Netanyahu anyway. You could just pray to Netanyahu to begin with

I pray every day, hoping that God will let me off easy and give me a few million years in purgatory instead of hell for all eternity. I know it says being a tranny is wrong but it's something I can't just cast aside even though it brings me so much sadness and shame.
>>
>>43569525
You shouldn't be afraid of some Jewish god that might or might not exist. There's plenty of real things to be scared of: what I'm going to do to you if I ever meet you alone in an alley at night, for example

Being born trans is as wrong as being born with a limb missing. It's not your fault, and it's unfair that you have to suffer so much.
>>
>>43564465
Your attitude is admirable!
>>
>>43569534
>what I'm going to do to you if I ever meet you alone in an alley at night, for example
I'm not sure what you're getting at. I would love to die but I don't have the right to. When bad things happen to me they make me feel better because I receive punishment now instead of the afterlife.
>>43569540
>It's not your fault
It is. It was my decision. I can't hide from my selfishness.
>>
I want to join the Westboro Baptist Church. Imagine how affirming it would be to be accepted into their own as a tranny just to yell and berate other gay and trans folks in Topeka
>>
>>43569573
It was not your decision to have gender dysphoria. The least bad treatment we have for now is transitioning. Treating your medical condition is not selfish.
>>
>>43564465
You can still be a Christian trans girl, fuck whoever says otherwise.
>>
>>43569731
God made me a boy and I said that God was wrong. It's all my fault.
>>
Christianity invented the sciences, which is pretty based.
But it makes me wonder why scientists reject it so much?
>>
>>43569747
If god made you a boy, he would have made your brain a boy brain too. You know gender dysphoria means you have at least some literal girl brain, right?
Boys are comfortable being boys, becoming men, and becoming more masculine. You are not. The way that your brain is, the most humane thing is to transition.
>>
>>43569757
"scientist"fag here, I'll skip akshually-ing about who invented the sciences. A belief system can be quite useful on an individual level, and even more on a tribal and societal one.
Over the centuries we have vastly improved our modelling of the reality that we inhabit, so it would be rather suboptimal if we don't re-evaluate belief systems on which parts of them are still helpful and which ones now cause more harm than good, and adjust accordingly. No sense in stoning the faggots nowadays if we have enough humans on the planet, and we have good enough medicine (and kind of decent social improvements) to let non-cishet people live a less punished life.
We don't need to reject a belief system fully, but having a moral compass means we should strive to reduce unnecessary suffering (both short and long term) introduced by some of its more outdated parts. This applies to every belief system, scientism included.
>>
>>43569769
Maybe God made it as a test for me and I failed.
>>
>>43569790
>reps for jesus
nona, deep inside your heart you know what happens to people that repress. The test was whether you can persevere and help yourself despite everything pushing you to repress, so that god can help you live a life with less suffering
>>
>>43569788
Okay, but that doesn't mean what I said was wrong.
Christians intervented the same scientific method we use today to validate results, because the truth is very important to them.
They even have a saint of science.
>>
>>43569788
>moral compass
Do you get that with a purely scientific worldview? I don't think you do...
>>
>>43569797
I have already transitioned but I am afraid. I don't want to go to hell. I was supposed to be good.
>>
>>43569809
>the truth is very important to them
thanks for the giggle m8
memes aside, I remember reading some stuff that alluded to the pretty good job christian science folk were doing. My main beef is the bad parts of whichever particular Belief System package certain judgmental subhumans like to push. My hope is that their subhumanness is curable and will be before they hurt too many people
>>43569814
Ought to be possible, but I and most people have it pre-seeded. Said compass also needs calibration from time to time, and at a belief system level I know at least several upsides to resisting change too.
>>
>>43569815
What do you think makes you not-good?
>>
>>43569830
So where do your morals come from?
>>
>>43569839

>>
>>43569844
Please don't dodge my question.
>>
>>43569851
Please don't pretend we're emotional children like the usual atheist-theist "debate"kids in the 90s. Skip the aha gotchas and get to the point you want to make.
>>
>>43569836
I am transgender and homosexual. My existence is an abomination. That is what the bible says. My disgusting self has no place in the same home as god.
>>
>>43569857
>Please don't dodge the question
>Dodges the question twice
Should I just accept your concession now? If you're refusing to participate, that's literally you ceding the point.
>>
>>43569864
>debate me bro
I'm not interested in internet fights. If you want to share perspectives (since there's a lot of nuance and options to be devil's advocate when it comes to moral systems, for example) and possibly help each other understand different PoVs, I'll be happy to do that. But I'm not interested in fighting to be right, or doing the usual dance against someone that wants that.
>>
>>43569872
So you're refusing to answer my one and only question. Correct?
I don't know why you're so afraid of this dude.
>>
>>43569883
>ur scared lol
You're taking an adversarial debatebro gotcha approach. That's a red flag that the interaction is not going to be pleasant.
I prefer those that share their views and are curious about the other side's, where to find a common ground, how to expand from that, and together (as a team) figure out where the differences stem from. Often that reveals more common ground for both sides, and a clearer understanding of the differing mechanisms and resulting points of disagreement (if any left). The interaction is usually much more pleasant, and pretty often leaves both sides feeling more sympathetic for the other.
>>
>>43569893
No, I'm asking you where morals come from, under your scientific world view.

I'm not trying to "win" or "get you" lol. I'm trying to understand your worldview, which you said you'd be happy to discuss.

Where do morals come from, in a purely scientific worldview?
>>
>>43569900
Thanks, now we're talking.
My worldview is not scientific, I just go with whatever I feel like, so I'm too lazy to figure out what the actual scientists, philosophers etc think about it.
As for where I think morals come from, in my mixed worldview, I'll use ol faithful: it varies.
One can argue they are innate (some good arguments for at least some underlying parts of morals), another can argue they can be constructed "from scratch" (but you can construct many alternative value systems, and choosing between them requires a value judgement or at least preference between goals they are more fit to achieve), and a third can argue they have a divine origin.
Personally currently I'm in the mood of "some ingrained + some culturally inherited + some tweaks when given the occasional thought or impactful life experience" for my own set.
I know that I didn't answer your exact question, but I hope I answered the spirit of it (I can't know, since I can't read your mind, of course).
What about you?
>>
>>43569935
>My worldview is not scientific, I just go with whatever I feel like
So you don't have morals, because you can make them up and change them on the spot, whenever you feel like. Is that fair to say, or not?

Wheras the Christians noticed this issue, and grounded their morals in something unchanging and "true" in their eyes, God.

Basically, I don't know why you're against the dogma of the religious morals, which are just made up, especially when you're literally being a hypocrite and doing the same.
>>
>>43569957
Pity.
>>
>>43569968
>No answer
Okay, I accept your concession.

Thanks for confirming you're not interested in having a real genuine discussion about morals.
>>
>>43569976
After I gave you the benefit of doubt, you proceeded with
>is it fair to say, or not (value judgement) that <disrespectful accusations>
>whereus my side is better
>basically why are you against my thing especially when you're literally being a hypocrite
Not exactly the kind of "real genuine discussion of morals" I enjoy. More of exactly what I described in the previous post. I hope you can be better in the future.
>>
>>43569986
If you're not willing to discuss the matter any further, you lose. Simple as.

It's not my fault you got upset and refused to participate.
>>
>>43569986
>Has to pretend I was disrespectful to avoid discourse
How very genuine of you...
>>
>>43569992
Ah, both facts-feelings debatebro smugness and emotion projection. Please continue, I'm mildly interested in how much lower you can go. I'll play the condescending part.
>>43569999
Promising. Please, go on.
>>
>>43570004
>Please continue
Sure, once you stop pretending that
1. I'm christian.
2. I was disrespectful.
3. That I'm trying to trick or trap you.
Agreed?

Now tell me what's wrong with my previous post, like I invited you to do.
>>43569957
If you don't tell me what you believe, how am I supposed to understand it?
>>
>>43569525
I often plead to him begging to wake up as a cute girl, so many times its why i can't really get take anything my religious family says, because i am really sad that a being would have made me 6 feet tall bony and lanky at 14 and for seem reason have unreasonable desire to be a cute girl, and then also never exonerate me by allowing me my dream somehow (just have me wake up and have it be like everything was always like that idc) or making the desire go away.
>>
>>43570020
I did that too anon. I used to fall asleep praying and then in my dreams I was a girl. Then when I woke up I'd feel my body and remember I was a male and cry. It is a relly hrd test we were given. I hope the mercy of god can be extended so far.

>3. That I'm trying to trick or trap you.
Jury's out on that one.
>2. I was disrespectful.
picrel
But beyond the meme, do you genuinely not recognize how multiple phrases in your post were disrespectful and appearing to do exactly what I described earlier?
>>
>>43570033
What was disrespectful in that post?
Quote the exact phrase please.

If you think anything i said was disrespectful, that's on you. Not me. I said nothing disrespectful.

So are you willing to agree to those 3 points? Or are you going to stall the discussion more?
>>
>>43570045
I'll be leaving in around 20 minutes, so you can choose how productive this conversation is.
>Quote the exact phrase please.
>you don't have morals
>because <questionable assertion>
no comment necessary
>Is that fair to say, or not?
adding that debate-pastor phrase doesn't do you any favors
>whereas christians did something better
not disrespectful, but combative tone
>you're literally being a hypocrite
no comment necessary
are there any concessions you think you can make? for example, I have zero problems making the concession that I was condescending before and after >>43569935, where I gave you the benefit of doubt and was being genuine and hopeful for one post (which was the wrong gamble, but I knew the risk going in)
>>
>>43570065
Asking you clarifying questions, and even offering you the chance to correct me, is in NO WAY disrespectful.

So you're refusing to agree to my points?
In that case I continue to accept your concession. There's no continuing the discussion if you are refusing to engage in good faith.
>>
>>43570073
>engage in good faith
>not even have the intellectual honesty to admit she was being disrespectful in her approach in kind
Indeed, not really productive.
On another (genuine) note, bad day?

>spamming the thread
>Because you refuse to engage in the discussion

People need to repent for their sins but transsexuality and homosexuality are not sins. If they were, then cissexuality and heterosexuality are equally sins as well. Only the former are bullied for it though.

Nothing wrong with being a pedophile as long as you don't offend.
