Does anybody have experience with taking a higher dosage of progesterone...

>be me
>on e ~ 3 years
>trooned out at 17, intersexshit, believe that the stars have aligned in my favor
>still no boobs 3 years in

>maybe my fault for being an anorexic freak
>up dosage of prog from 100 to 400 mg daily
>simultaneously mental health starts to get better, get boyfriend, have nice friends
>boyfriend loves the gym and is insistent on me eating, especially when I am around him
>eat moore
>chest hurts so so much, just my top brushing against my chest in the past two months has been agony
>boyfriend comments that my chest has grown a lot

I can't tell if its just the progesterone or eating more that has done it, maybe both? My doctor is of course useless whenever I ask her "there is no definitive evidence of the effects of progesterone on trannies so I have no clue what it could be". My doctor only prescribes for 200 mg but I just DIY for more, I am considering taking more than my current 400 but I don't know if it could have any negative side effects :/

It might just be temporary water retention and swelling, prog can cause this and the size goes away after stopping

Pretty sure there's a plateau for effectiveness that's pretty low. Might wanna check into that. Its possible that increasing dose will just give you supra physiological symptoms

both prog and estrogens are well known for causing temporary breast enlargement, areola darkening, puffiness and increase in size (dose dependent). only estrogens cause obvious permanent growth, there is very little evidence that prog also contributes a little bit. iirc cis women's breast volume vary by up to 50% or something throughout the menstrual cycle
are you taking it orally or rectally?

Rectally. I don't really understand all this talk about progesterone not having an effect or having an effect, there seems to be evidence both for and against its effectiveness in twomen and cis women, idk its confusing

hmm depends. hrtwinks use prog early on to keep estrogen from making boobs protrude too far forward
progesterone changes breast growth from going forward into the filling out/branching cell proliferation making the chest rounder and girlier
if you started prog before 2 years, my experience has been that trannies end up getting smaller breasts. e monotherapy for 3 years and then beginning prog after that is what makes breasts the largest

HOWEVER! the boobs are growing now. i understand you want to accelerate it to get the best results but you are currently having a good thing happen. don't change anything and the good thing will keep happening exactly how it has been happening. change something and the result will be different from what has been happening

prog has a lot of effects, but when it comes to breasts, they are temporary. if you stop taking it, they fully revert
i take 400 just because women produce progesterone, but i cycle. the effects are consistent with what i said >>43569243
i think if you take more and more, eventually you would just have pregnancy booba lol
