A lot of transgender women need to be more protective of their boundaries and sense of self. Just because they are processing their feelings and esteem issues they make themselves especially vulnerable in an especially belligerent time. Don't engage with people, yelling at them doesn't help. Simply be aware of your surroundings and make sure you can defend yourself. This has nothing to do with 'optics' or 'publoc sentiment' both of which shouldnt even be top considerations for a demographic with low unemployment, high violent crimes and negative health outcomes. Objective: survive.
