I'd totally listen to the Stephen Fry audiobook version with you whilst we drove across the country. I don't see what the big deal is. Joanne is a Tranny hater? I don't really care. Lots of people hate lots of things. Especially old white people. I think she's still a better writer than so so so so many other authors. I'd rather listen to the Witcher books though. Sapkowski is a much much better writer than Joanne, and there's romance. Much more adult, not silly children's nonsense. But again, Harry Potter is fine. It's an experience. It's certainly worth reading if you haven't.
