I went on Finasteride one week ago, when I should have started taking it at least 6 months ago. Hairline's looking rough. Ftm. It made me realize that 90% of the products targeting male-pattern hair loss are complete cope unless they contain 5α-Reductase inhibitors. Let's hope I'll get some of that hair back.

Small, balding and dickless is the trifecta of worthless male
>>
>>43593147
dickless is actually better atp because if you are small and bald it only becomes a burden
>>
>>43593147
The way you phrased this is kind of funny. I don't think it's true, though.
>small
I'm 5'8" personally, some ftms I know were everything from 5'11" up to 6'3". Being short itself isn't too big of a deal, it can even be an advantage if the trans man is attracted to men.
>balding
Avoidable for the most part. Treatable. If nothing else helps, facial surgery to get a good base + buzzcut.
>dickless
This is an advantage since anything to do with dicks can be easily replicated, whereas pussy is notoriously difficult to attain.

I've got a heccin masc pussy like a real boy >_<'

Duta is stronger and starts working right away. Why do ftms let yourself get norwooded when the cure for baldness exists

>Why do ftms let yourself get norwooded
It's generally a bad idea to block DHT during the first 1-2 years of transition, because DHT is the main driver for masculinization. After that time period, using 5α-Reductase inhibitors is no longer as big of a deal. Compare it to male puberty, if my explanation makes no sense to you.
>Duta starts working right away
In the same way that Finasteride does, by blocking the 5-alpha reductase enzyme immediately. It'll take a few months for the hair loss to stabilize regardless.
>Duta is stronger
It is more potent due to lowering roughly 90% to 95% of systemic DHT (compare with ~60-70% from Finasteride), which is why it shouldn't be the first option. It can be considered if Finasteride doesn't work. Plus, it has a really long biological half-life (around 6 months) which means you can't just go off it if you experience severe side effects.

Blocking nearly all DHT is not ideal for female-to-male transition.

But balding is sooooo gender affirming lil' dood! It's just all about being a worthless sub2 male you were always meant to be!
>>
>>43593427
I always wonder who's posting stuff like this.

When I read "Finasteride" my first thought was "Get on E" until I got up to "FTM". Yeesh. That shit feminizes you a little bit, I was on it before I started HRT and I feel like it alleviated my dysphoria a little bit from clearing up my skin and softening my features slightly

YOU, of course, are... not gonna want that

>That shit feminizes you a little bit, I was on it before I started HRT
It does not. It just stops dht from destroying your hair follicles. Its perfect for trans guys who want to be more twinky cause if you start taking it early enough (like a year on t) it stops you from getting a hairy body and beard. You still masculinize from t and get to keep male libido.

It was perfect for me. I got the deep voice, big clit, male bodyfat but smooth skin, no acne, no chest hair
I always wanted to be a pretty boy, not ugly

I never understood those people
>>
>>43593437
It's probably just memes, but I do sometimes wonder about why some FtM feel like this is a requirement. I once met a really nice transboy, but his definition of 'masculine' was being as gross and bald as possible. He then wondered why I lost all interest. Some dudes really think that the ideal male to be is a fat, stinking slob and I cannot explain it.

One year is enough, then on duta

They are coping cause they did not bother to find out what to do if you start balding soon enough or they were raped
>>
pooners are such clowns i swear
as much as i hate hons, i still hate doodfabs more
>>
>>43593544
I'm pretty sure they weren't raped and I actually got to witness the 'descent', if I'm allowed to be a lil crass. Upon meeting they were an incredibly cute quirky t-boy with really pretty short hair and seemed to just wanna hang out and play stuff. They were really keen on going to the gym together and doing physical stuff. Then they just started getting really really fat. That was okay, we can just work out together, y'know? Then the hair started going and I told them about Finasteride. That's when they told me all of what they were doing was intentional and that they wanted to be a real man. I had no idea how to take that except being grateful we never became an item.
They ghosted me when it became clear I wasn't going to fuck them. Which is funny because I was still okay with friendship. I guess that's pretty 'true dude', lmao.
It just feels like they want to emulate the worst of men.

Fair enough. I appreciate the tip.

Sounds like depression or some kind of a fetish
>>
>>43593648
It was an incredible bummer. I was excited to go with someone to the gym and do some art hobbies with. I really have to suspect depression though, yeah. Anyways, to OP, you'll probably be fine if you're not too old. A lot of hairs will still grow back and remain. I'm a cisguy that takes the stuff and I was starting to grow some white patches over my skull. About half a year to a year later and it's all dense and obscured again. It's really hard to be too late unless you're legit berniemoding already. Also speak with cosmetic professionals. A lot of men seek them out for exactly this so they tend to be pretty knowledgeable.
