First of all, its been overrun by sourdough houswives who all inexplicably are the most insufferable people on planet earth soley by virtue of their self perceived knowledge on the art of bread making. Make no mistake, these people have no idea what they're doing, they're just part of a internet hyper slop train, their algorithm has told them to make sourdough and so that they will. These people, commonly referred to as hylics by those in the know, or goyim by those who lament them, are an absolute net negative within any community. Believe me i have been making bread since i was a teen, i know the ins and outs of bread making, im like a japanese udon noodle maker in the way i sense the moisture within the dough. Oh it makes me mad, these people are such phonies, and most of them are unfortunately women, who even more inexplicably always seem to have a 2x multiplier on how much of a net negative they on any art or skill. These creatures to not contribute, they merely leech. There is a reason why eve was made from Adam's rib and not of her own clay, huh. Secondly, whenever i want to dive into some bread research online i have to navigate many many sourdough articles made by the aforementioned net drags on humanity, dregs of the interwebs.

I just wanted to make plain sandwich bread, and preferably a recipe that didn't use milk because milk spoils too easily. But good fucking luck finding recipes this is the ocean of shit.I ended up doing the math to figure out how to substitute milk with appropriate amounts of water, sugar, and shortening to achieve the same function in the recipe.
