At what point is repping a better option than transitioning? Objectively, there has to be a utilitarian cutoff where transitioning will bring you more pain than just staying the way you are. Where would you place the turning point?

There's no specific point reallyIt comes down to how much you're able to work on self-acceptance, how much dysphoria you have, and how long you think you can go on without transitioningIt's always a gamble and it doesn't even matter if you're right, it's whether you can hold out for your entire lifeYou might rep until you're 50 then not be able to take it anymore, try transitioning, and still just cause yourself more pain than if you hadn't or if you had at 20 or 30 or whatever
>>43604025repping only gets worse so the better question is at what point does the pain of repression outweigh your fears about transition?
>>43604025it depends on you, do you think you'd be happier on estrogen even with no social transition? I'd say do it no matter what your age isbut if you need social transition and you need to be seen as a woman it's bleak past puberty for most people
>>43604178Its not easy while taking in the factor of repression making trans thoughts (dysphoria?) resurfacing every half a year
>>43604184Seeing my body with changes from estrogen while not being able to afford laser would probably be a ropefuel for meLack of passing and in turn social transition would just remind me of my abhorrent body
