fellow voicehons, how would you go about getting femlar? are there any surgeons that would do it aside dr thomas in the US? i would like to get it done but i'm scared of traveling to the US (i'm a eurohon) because i don't want to get arrested for being a troon and get v-coded and then sent to congo or uganda by ICE
>>43613897there is some guy in Germany. idk his name. why not VFSRAC in Korea?
>>43613912isn't vfsrac just a worse procedure?
>>43613934I think statistically it achieves higher pitch. Femlar MIGHT decrease resonance, but it's not proven. it's sort of a risky procedure, about 8% see no improvement, thats from Thomas himself.
>>43613934They're different terms for the same thing, though in practice different surgeons have different methods. Yeson appears objectively superior to Thomas, on top of being cheaper. I went with Yeson.
>>43613988VFSRAC and Femlar are not the same procedure apart from them both being VFS
>>43614023Looking into it deeper... wow, yeah. Idk why anyone would get femlar reading about it in comparison.
>>43614090MUH RESONANCEMUH FEMALE ANATOMICAL STRUCTURE
>>43614098With a 10x more traumatic surgery, which is also apparently 2x as expensive.
>>43614117traumatic and cost wouldnt really matter if it was superior. I could be on voice rest for a year if it guaranteed permanent cis voice with good range.
