she's right though. the first two years were a hell worse than repping for me. yeah, it got way better afterwards and overall I'm very happy.but fuck, a lot of things could've gone wrong in those two years if I hadn't had the money to support myself through the sheer inability to function.

However, even without passing, I still think it's worth transitioning because at the end of the day I want to feel as comfortable in my body as possible. Being clocked stings, being sir'd stings, but being perceived as cis and constantly dissociating for years is far worse. It feels like you're living someone else's life but you're still suffering. Personally though I'd rather suffer as myself, that way I at least get a chance at actually feeling happy.
