Most "androgyny" that people like is someone that is still overwhelmingly masculine (esp. in speech and gestures), with a few select "soft" features. An effeminate gay man, which is technically a more advanced form of androgyny, already makes everyone uncomfortableI think it is the contradiction between gender expression and sex that makes people dysphoric, so you either feminize your body to align with your effeminate tendencies or you abandon your femininity and masculinize the way you carry yourself so it aligns with your male sex. The most dysphoric form of existence is being an effeminate but not transgendered man, in my opinion
