This has its caveats - if youre out with a trans person and they (accidentally) get misgendered, you probably shouldn't speak up for them unless you two have talked about it prior. Once youre out of the grocery store or wherever, you fan talk to them about how they felt and give them support and affirmation.But if you're at work and you hear something, like my coworker said, "I identify as a high pitch voice!" you should probably call that out.If its gonna start a workplace argument you should probably just say "Hey thats not cool" and do your best not to persist.
