Why do people usually compare using circumference when breadth is what actually matters in regards to how you look?
>>43630908Circumference matters a lot for side profiles, and for some measurements (chest) that's actually the big difference between men and women.
Circumference is how I can buy bras that fit me, hope that helps
>>43630961sure but for stuff like hips, waist and shoulders breadth is a lot more important but you still see people use circumference constantly
>>43630908because most people are retarded
>>43630985I get what you mean because the girth of your buttocks can change the hip measurement quite a bit. You could do a good glutes+hamstrings routine and behave like your hips got wider. I'm not sure why it's the convention but that is how it has always been so that's how I measure it.
>>43630908Being barrel chested is clearly bad though
>>43633594well yeah but not for just regular comparisons
>>43630908because that's how you measure it for tailoring. most people know their measurements clothes- and it correlates to body types.if you look bad but have "good circumference"... the circumference really isn't that good
Both matter..? You are a human being that exists in three dimensional space?
>>43633874nah i am 2d, but as an example when talking about waist to hip ratio people usually use circumference even though the breadth is the only thing that really matters in this case
>>43630908yeah i find it stupid how people use waist to hip in circumference it makes much more sense to use breadth.
reading breadth like a lisp for breast
