Blanchardism is bad for your brain. He was debunked since at least the 90s but definitely after 2008.
He made his classification based off of bad data (throwing out results that didnt fit his analysis, questionable consent participants, basing off of dressing like a woman for the first time,) is very stigmatizing (positing straight women as transsexual but lesbian women as a paraphilia,) and just completely disregards the existence of transgender men.
He's get all of the worst parts of normie homophobia and chaserdom combined. it was fine and helpful for a little while there, but it ultimately led to brutal transmedicalism (wearing jeans to your endo could get your HRT taken or denied) and deeply rooted stigmatization of all transgender people
