/fitttt/, a no chuds allowed health & fitness general thread for MTFs (and cis foids).
Feel free to share tips, routines, and physiques.

QOTT: How do you ascend from DYELhood without looking more masculine?

Gym tips or exercises for hypermobility. I don't want to subluxate anything. Cis female.

is it normal if i'm really thin and out of shape to have a really low lung capacity or should i see a doctor
>>
>>43977332
maybe? you may want to bring it up at your next annual primary care visit. if you want to increase your lung capacity in general you will want to get into doing some cardio and build up some endurance
>>
>>43977135
Perfect timing I just did my first workout on HRT
I hope this thread isn't a one-off
>>
>>43977536
can walking be a good start to this process or is it too easy

i take vyvanse for adhd and it makes me start sweating really hard so exercising is generally an uncomfortable experience for me
>>
>no men, only mtfs and cisfs
transbians really are the bane of sanity
tired of how much of a shithole mtfg is? gotta infest the rest of the board right
>>
I used to only lift for lower body but it got boring and I still felt weak. so I started doing upper body and core along with lower and it's makes my whole body feel lighter in a way. I'm not worried about getting bigger, unless your goal is to get to advanced levels of lifting (by male standards) it just means your arms won't be flabby.
>>
>>43977665
absolutely! walking is a good place to start. idk where you live but you could start by walking around your neighborhood and then started going on longer walks once you feel more comfortable. i like going hiking and being in nature.

I made a thread about this yesterday but now that there's a dedicated general for it I'll post again

Do you guys think this training regimen i found is good? As someone who is not used to training
>>
>>43977753
No. Hell no. Absolutely fuck no. This is basically nothing and will get you no results.
>>
>>43977753
Honestly anon, so long as you are doing any kind of physical exercise you're doing better than 99.9% of the people on the board
>>
>>43977135
stupid thread because 99.9% of those in the LGBT community are in that community specifically because they are unhealthy people.
They are people who don't want to work out, they don't want to fix their mental health problems, and by and large they are dysgenic looking losers of society who need this community to finally feel special in some way.
They are lazy and usually fat or very ugly in some way.

What would you recommend? There's also this one in the same google doc with more shit as well as gym programs but i dont really wanna buy a gym membership
>>
>>43977753
that's fine to start but the intensity is pretty low. once your fitness has improved you'll want a program that involves lifting.
>>

Even if I want to feminize?
I know deadlifting is good for having a big ass but im afraid if I have a lot of muscle in my arms people will notice that & my face and instaclock even if before they wouldn't

Yes I know that doesn't make sense because estrogen makes it just as hard for trannies to get ripped as for cis women, but cissoids are retarded and 90% of troon caricatures include massive arms

I primarily do lower body and core in the gym 3d/w, however I do rock climb occasionally so my upper body is still fairly fit. I’ve also been getting into ice skating just cause it’s fun.

My gym exercises look like this (depending on machine availability and time cause working out isn’t my number one priority)
Warm up: 50-80 flights on the stair master (sometimes I’ll do less for time or injury reasons)
Glute Drive Machine: 3 sets of 6-8, first one is low weight just to make sure I get my form right and then 2 at normal weight
Deep Single Leg Press: 2 sets of 6-8
Hip Abduction Machine: 3 different postures in 3 sets of 8-10
Back Extension: 3 sets of 8
Leg Extension: 2 sets of 8
Decline Sit Ups: 3 sets of 16

I only lift to get a bigger butt and prevent any back pain, I only rly started in February so I’m pretty new to this kind of gym. If anyone has tips pls lmk bc I am uneducated
>>
>>43977832
Building a good lower body without weights is very difficult, if you want nice legs and butt you need to go to a gym and move some weight around.
>>
>>43977919
This is not a bad routine but you should add some hamstring work. If it were up to me I'd have you start with deep ass to grass barbell squats as that gives you the most bang for your buck. For your sets how are you progressing? Do you add weight every month or so? How close are you to failure during each exercise? Generally it's best practice to end with cardio rather than start with it so you are as fresh and strong as possible while doing your exercises.
>>
>>43978044
Ya I’ve been adding weight pretty consistently, usually by my last reps of my last set it starts to get iffy. I’ll see about some hamstring exercises and what should I do for warm up instead of cardio?
>>
>>43978749
Tbh for your first few exercises you just do them with like 20% of your working weight for a set, then 50%, then 70% then you just go into your working weight.
>>
This is my very simple dumbbell routine meant to get me back into lifting. Started 2 weeks ago when I was trying to repress and wean myself off estrogen. I decided I need to honmode instead.
Bench 2x8
Goblet Squat 2x8
One arm row 2x8
RDL 2x8
Facepull 2x15
Plank x3 (currently at 45s cuz im a baby)

Should I switch to an upper/lower split and remove the rows? I'd think that training lats is bad for trannies right?
>>
>>43977135
QOTT: I starved the muscles away and roonmaxxed. Problem is that I gave myself an ed and now i have to battle that
>>
>>43979124
Developing lats and building your thighs is good because it will make your waist seem smaller. You're not going to get bodybuilder lats from training them a bit.
>>
>>43979326
Idk from what I remember from when i was a teenager my lats are pretty receptive to training. I dont wanna be a big backed bitch
>>
>>43979430
A nice back is a good quality on a girl. If you notice it's developing too quickly you just dial the volume back.
