as a repper, I have to ask this about transitioning trannies -do you see a woman in the mirror?because me with no estrogen, I always see "her" or essentially my true selfI heard the experience is that when you're on estrogen and actually taking the steps to transition your brain starts to get dysphoric and your self-perception changes to looking like a male where in a dysphoric way you now see a man in the mirrorbut as a repper with no E even if I have a beard - look like a male - I just see myself as a woman with a penis and a beard - like my brain can't even identify myself as male -do you lose that once you transition?
Uh no if anything its the complete opposite for me, sometimes I forget that im a woman physically now and when I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror it fills me with happiness
>>44412758fffuuucccccckkkkkk I need to stop repping then -
>>44412786probably a good idearepping too long makes transition harder both physically and psychologically
>>44412732>I heard the experience is that when you're on estrogen and actually taking the steps to transition your brain starts to get dysphoric and your self-perception changes to looking like a male where in a dysphoric way you now see a man in the mirrorThis is honscience. Estrogen and testosterone have different effects on mood but at no point actually change mental dysphoria or any sort of narrative experience beyond the placebo effect, or the long term physical changes you observe. Being tranny is a cognitohazard, not anything you can solve with medicine alone.
>>44412808They can have mental effects based on how they influence the production of different neurosteroids and whatnot. t.raggot with brain fog due to elevated histamines from HRT
>>44412812Yeah, hence I mentioned changes in mood. That alone isn't going to automatically fix your ability to tolerate being an ugly hon regardless of gender
>>44412732As a cis tourist I can't relate nor imagine how hard it may be, but I hope you get to meet your true self nona.
