>As a complete man with his honour unsullied, the honest Indo-European stands upright before his God or Gods.
>No religiosity which takes something away from man, to make him appear smaller before a deity who has become all-powerful and oppressive, is Indo-European.
>No religiosity which declares the world and man to be valueless, low and unclean, and which wishes to redeem man to over-earthly or superhuman sacred values, is truly Indo-European.
>>
>>24952999
Arbitrary designation of what 'Indo-European' means. This is what Heidegger calls metaphysics, and what Stirner calls a spook. Christian is at the centre of European cultural life whether you like it nor, and that is why so many Nazis returned to it after WW2.

Religion in 2025 is halal chicken and vape shop nasheeds and roaring lion car decals, ay dios mio carrrooon guatemala flag in the car shrine to goku and santa muerte, throwing cow shit at each other saying vishnu will kill all mleccha while on break from ur it job coded

Based on what, those 3 sentences? It's a scholarly work of religious ethnography, not sociology or something.

Lol, is that why traditional Indo-Euro religions got completely out-fucking-classed by Eastern cults? Even before Christianity took over, Greco-Romans would note that the Orientals are a lot more passionately devoted to their gods. It looks like people actually do want to feel "small before an all-powerful and opressive deity".

The idea anons have that there is a nip in Japan (a literally vassal of the U.S. that lacks several of the guaranteed protections of the individual) is effectively resisting censors from the entire west is laughable. We are being guided too. Just with back channels.
It's exactly like how despite having supposedly completely different perspectives, almost all popular dissident streamers from both sides of the isle supported Ukraine with largely the same rhetoric. This website is run by the DoD or some other military department under the guise of private ownership. Jannies may work for free but the moderators are paid glowniggers. It's the same thing with companies like Facebook, Google(Alphabet), they start out as private, go public but in reality they are run by some obscure military department hidden behind 99 top clearances.

Simply read more books. A wide variety of books will improve your vocabulary and grasp of grammar. Start with nonfiction, topics that you are familiar with so you won't be wrestling with the content, just the grammar and vocabulary. Then move to fiction. Contemporary fiction at first, will be easier, but then earlier works of modern literature from the 19th century, or earlier, to test your understanding of grammar. The further back you go with Modern English, the more the definitions of words start to change.

Once you hit Early Modern English, the likes of Chaucer and Shakespeare, you'll be grappling with writings that often confuse even native English speakers. Which is why you'll be able to find annotated versions of their writings to help with things like unfamiliar grammar, vocabulary, and expressions and idioms particular to their time and place.

Some of the most challenging works you can read, to test your understanding of grammar and vocabulary, are philosophical tracts. These will feature extremely long, convoluted sentences as well as specialist terminology and references to obscure works. If you're reading something written more than 60 years ago, the chances of the author dropping in untranslated Latin or Greek phrases increases greatly. This is a challenge to native English speakers though, not necessarily you, who might be more familiar with these languages.

You make it seem as if the world of Arabian literature isn't as sterile as its deserts.
Also, when you consider that Mahmud, Mahmed, and Mohammed are all different spellings of the same name, the numerical argument you propose doesn't mean much.

yeah you're right. if it's not arab then it's english , the language with the most words. (that's the answer I always get mainly when I ask google)

Why is it that all great minds of antiquity thought that love was more than a crude neurochemical reaction? Would they have been redpilled if they were alive after the 20th century when advancement in chemistry demonstrated that love/eros is basically just a powerful drug? Honestly explains many things about the current perception of love in relation to modernity.

women are pretty susceptible to struggling financially even when alone. most still think of long term relationships for companionship (women actually need constant and never-ending validation, and they want to be the only ones) and financial interest.
that said they still cheat and sleep around. mostly because they're that helpless.

Prop 1 - Substance is by nature prior to its modifications
Substance is prior to modificications (modes), this makes both logical and ontological sense, in that substance is that which is in in itself and is conceived through itself, in that it is a self sufficient, self caused entity that cannot be contingent upon anything external. Spinoza presents his proof through definitions 3 and 5 as it logically follows, however here I will give more context. This establishes substance as the ontological foundation of reality in that God is not the divine creator of the world, but rather that god is the world, within all that exists. In such substance which is infinite, eternal and indivisible. This rejects the classic view of god (maybe why he got kicked out of the jewish church) that god sits apart from the world. In this modes, or determinations of substance, are not substances in themselves but exist within the substance, in such they are dependent on its existence. In link to Axiom 1, “Everything that is, is either in itself or in another.” (pls read the other writing on axioms for clarification) which reaffirms the ontological priority of substance over its modes, modes are in substance but substance is not in any mode. This reflects Spinoza's claim that all that exists as finite expressions of the infinite attributes of god, this undermines the notion of a transcendent deity, in that Spinoza's god is positioned as necessary to the constitution of all being.

And do you think his will is mutable, or immutable?
>>
>>24953333
>In such all events are born from necessity with the ultimate ground lying within the nature of god or nature (deus sive natura) It is important to note god is also bound by necessity!
Yes, his God is mere mechanism and non-differentiated uniformity. I thought we went over this.
>>24953336
Immutable. I know exactly what it is you're trying to do here, by the way, but Spinoza's God is really nothing like the Christian God (who is defined by his transcendental nature instead of brute emergence as a result of exhausting all potentialities) at all. If anything, this poster who is far more clever than me >>24951542 made the astute observation that de Sade is closer to a Christ-like figure in Spinoza's framework, and Christ himself the Anti-Christ.
>>
>>24953373
But not really. Sade is a social free radical. Anyone with even a cursory examination of the actual ethics in Ethics would see why that is incorrect. But the issue is even though Spinoza wrote a treatise with the utmost rigour to demonstrate his position and its logical conclusions, it is easier for his opponents to ignore his arguments and just posit ridiculousness.
>>
>>24953388
>Anyone with even a cursory examination of the actual ethics in Ethics would see why that is incorrect.
It doesn't matter because Spinoza does not answer the problem of evil.
>But the issue is even though Spinoza wrote a treatise with the utmost rigour to demonstrate his position and its logical conclusions, it is easier for his opponents to ignore his arguments and just posit ridiculousness.
This sterile rationalist anti-humanism is exactly why Spinoza is and will remain a relic of the enlightenment.
>>
>>24953398
Spinoza addresses the problem of evil at length, and also clarifies it in his letters

Alright, enlighten an ESL: What do you have to read to become a proper English writer? Are the /wg/ resources actually a good primer? I'll do anything, probably. The more extensive and detailed the list or plan, the better. My adoration (autism) for the language is strong enough, if you told me to read the entire OED 1989, cover to cover, I'd do it, or at least attempt to.

I'm willing and open-minded to read most stuff. Even Finnegans Wake or whatever? But, as much as I'd like to, replicating that type of writing as an ESL is not possible, at least meaningfully or originally.
