Is it worth studying creative writing at University? I took a course and got the highest marks in class for poetry, but I feel like the courses are run to get students’ money. A big part of education is building relationships, and universities would probably gas up their students to make them happy to come to class.

most creative writing classes is very little instruction or study and a lot of critique, you don't need to take those peer circles of critique at university as any writer's circle can provide them. If you want to be a better writer, study literature, occasional poetry class, and write a lot.
