What’s the term in amateur writing when the author just reuses the same words over and over again? Like when you’re reading some fanfiction or webnovel and there’s fifteen paragraphs in a row that start with “the” or the protagonists name. And then the paragraphs themselves might use the same random word like nonetheless or however maybe half a dozen timesWhatever it is called, I find it very unpleasant to read

It feels bad, because I am sure that others have a much easier time avoiding it. It makes me feel quite dumb.
