I'm reading ASOIAF rn, currently on Clash of Kings. However, I was spoiled for **Jon's death** through literally no fault of my own, and I'm genuinely really mad. I can't believe it bros...

low effort

You're gonna lose it when you find out that dany has loose stool a couple times.

Wait til you find out the show ending is the book series ending lmao

Generic boring ass character

Jon’s been dead long time. They won’t bring him back,,,,,will they?

If Winds **EVER** gets released, that would most certainly be the biggest change George makes, just so he can ensure everyone it won't be following the show's ending.

I doubt he was ever going to stay dead even if George actually intended to finish the books.

George has said many times he won’t switch up the mysteries people figured out because then the setups go nowhere and that’s more gay.

Of course this is all assuming he finishes anything.

Bad as George can be, pulling an Abrams is even shittier, so good on him for that.

Jon died in the cold and his body is preserved somewhere. He will turn into a half zombie entity similar to his uncle. People can exist in a grey area between alive and zombies in this setting. This is what happens in the show to numerous characters. No I didn't read the books.
But this was a popular theory: You can bring people back but they degrade into zombies over time. It happens with other characters. Magic exists in the setting and it can "sort of" revive people, but it's not perfect. The reason he was revived in the show as because it was cold, his body was preserved. Same shit will probably happen if the book is ever written. The body of Jon is probably under some ice somewhere or some shit.
