Braille books are considerably more expensive than print books, not something you accidentally order unless it is a very short book. They tend to run around $20 per hundred pages, 500 page book will be around $100, part of the reason blind people tend to prefer audio books.

Used to be obsessed with that shit in 1st grade for some reason.

i would love to read with my eyes closed

One of the more beautiful and inspiring things I have read in recent years. How does the experience of braille compare to reading? Does it require more concentration or less? Is anything lost in translation? Is it slower, or faster?

It changes over time as your tactile sensory sensitivity increases. For a fluent brailler it's basically the same speed as being a starecuck

Where do you get your braille books from?
>>
>>24687939
I pickpocket them from the people walking in and out of the local ophthalmology clinic
>>
>>24687391
We had some braille books in the school library when I was a kid and a couple of my classmates got really into it for no real reason so it seems plausible enough.
