>I start writing notes in the text of House of Leaves even though I usually never write in my books
>Add my own stories here or there like Johnny did
>Donate it to a used bookstore so that maybe someone will read it and continue the cycle
>Will probably just get recycled without anyone reading it

Johnny's story is seriously underrated.
>>
Could have handed it off to your friend or a nephew. Or left it in a cafe or library. Create some intrigue. But no your boring ass donated it to a used bookstore…where books are thrown out if there’s extensive writing or damage on the pages. Lame life.

And giving it to your friend or nephew is gay. It has to be a rando for it to work.

No some cute barista will pick it up and become amazed by your witty insights in the margins. That chance is dead now…..best bet is some landwhale exiled to the bookstore warehouse will take a gander. Unlikely

Well, I wish that were true.

I have never had the desire to write in a book.

What sort of things do you write and why?

I only wrote in it because I thought the book CALLED for me adding another layer to the story. I haven't done it outside of this, personally.
