Is it true these books are basically exclusively read by fat, ugly women with low self esteem that long to be desired by men? There is no way anyone actually takes this slop seriously, right?

>>24686149It's required reading in most/a lot of Canadian schools. I had to read it in high school. I reread it earlier this year. It's pretty mid. Not sure why Atwood is considered the second coming of Christ in Canadian literary circles.
I love how everytime womens rights get brought up, these fat ugly women with low self esteem reference this book. Yet everything that happens in this book happens in Islamic countries, but if you bring it up those same women get mad.
