i never read his books, but when i was in rehab, the Wheel of Time series was the most popular series, everyone wanted to read it
the guy i had to share a room with was this big burly dude and he cried when he read one of the books

No. He’s good at writing average sized novels but completely butchers them appealing to yes men and making them 4x longer than they have any right being. Books 4 and 5 of stormlight are genuinely awful. It’s the book equivalent of refried beans with his recent ones having dirty socks added as seasoning
