I wanted to borrow Thursday Murder Club from my local library, but it wasn't in at the moment. The librarian recommended me borrowing Three Bags Full by Leonie Swann instead. A murder mystery with sheep as the main characters. I thought it sounded fun based on his description, but that book was such a let down. I expected something like Shaun the Sheep solving a murder, what I got was real life, stupid ass sheep trying to understand what was going on in the story. You as the reader couldn't get a clear picture either because of these stupid animals. "He went there with this thing that I don't have the vocabulary to describe. I wonder what he was up to... Oh! Look at this lovely spot of grass!" It's actually one of the few book I haven't finished. Thursday Murder Club on the other hand was exactly what I expected it to be, and I loved every second of reading it.
