>SeptemberDo NEETs really?
>>24689342Are King Arthur books comfy reads for autumn?
>>24689373YepDeal with it
>>24689388Do they take place during the fall?
>>24689373Hallows' Tide officially begins in August 15 with the Assumption of Mary in Heaven which initiates Michaels Lent
I hate how if you look for recommendations for horror books it's always fucking stephen king, I don't want to read a book written by a pedophile.Any good horror novels with a lot of buildup before the first "scare?" I've been combing through books I've been recommended over the years and a lot of them can't help but have fucked up scenes way too soon. I want books that know how to build tension without blowing their load or telling me through the protagonist that I should be losing my mind already.
>>24689342They Thirst by Robert R. McCammon. It's set on Halloween and so far it's shockingly good. I think it's a forgotten gem of the Horror Genre, absolute pure schlock from start to finish but incredibly fun.
>>24689766>It's set on HalloweenThank you anonI especially love books set during halloween, but they're hard to find
>>24689835Do you have any recs?
>>24689906Maybe this one but I haven't read it yet
>>24689990Cheers I'll give it a look
>>24689729Turn of the Screw?
>>24689620No idea.
>>24689729Negative Space was pretty good, you know there is something wrong from the beginning but it's not obvious what and things get progressively more fucked up and nasty as you find out.
>>24690213What author? B.R. Yeager?
>>24689342Melmoth the wanderer
>>24689624Papist nonsense.
