A thread to discuss the intersection between LLM and literature.

A proper OP will come later if the thread arouses enough genuine interest.

LLMs already write on the level of literary greats, see pic for example.

So does anyone write stories with this or do you just ERP with characters?

in the context of /aicg/ and the program in the example posted, the latter. the former would be using novelcrafter.

You can do fun stuff with LLMs, if you accept a bit of OOC characterization. LLM output is highly dependent on RNG though, so it's a little frustrating when you receive a goated response once and then never again.

>RNG
LLMs aren't capable of RNG by design. They just go with the flow, randomly doing what they think is most logical.

They do, in /aids/. This is a shitpost bake of the "chatbots general" hence the latter.

I do long roleplays but they usually end in ERP. It's good to practice writing with but I still wouldn't use AI to write stuff for me.
