Yes. So I've picked up things from books that sort of installed themselves in my mind that are perpetually and deeply funny. This has happened with visual comedy too, if you mean TV and movies. Personally the things from books have burrowed deeper into me. But I'm on /lit/ and read a lot. Anyway, is it possible? Yes.
