aren't southern italians supposed to be less sophisticated? i was watching about how the worst italians immigrated to the us while northerners went to brazil and argentina and that their cultures are antithetical, one is arisocratic the other is criminal, one looks mediterranean or arabic, the other looks germanic, and the most exceptional italians in the new world evidently come from south america, messi, maradona, bolsonaro, etc
