I have read or listened to most of King's books.I don't think he is a Hemingway or a Steinbeck. The writing is simple.There may be a few novels or stories that disappoint. Reading his whole library boils down to a year of my existence. I would not trade that year for anything. I am the "dear constant reader." His auto biography "On Writing" is his best work. His politics are wrong. He will be known as the GOAT in 50 years.
